We spent much of the first days of 2016 waiting and waiting for Baby Sister to arrive! But, we did get to do a couple fun things.
We did our traditional New Years' Day hike. This year the "hike" was modified for quick access to the hospital and we went to Pennypacker park in Haddonfield. We could have gone several hours away. Baby Sister did not arrive. But we still had fun!
On January 3rd, we went to the aquarium! Got our annual membership and figured out where the nursing room was. We also got some really lovely views of the Philly skyline.
Here is a funny soap beard on Jovie- passing time however we can!
This is Haddon Lake park. I logged a lot of miles around that lake at the end of December and beginning of January!

On January 6, for dinner, we went out one last time as a family of three to an Italian restaurant. We really enjoyed it! We wanted to go out one last time together as the three of us, and I was trying every trick to go into labor, and so eggplant Parmesan was next on the list! Supposedly, if you finish a whole one, you go into labor 24-48 hours later. I started it at dinner, I finished the meal for lunch on January 7th, and Baby Sister arrived on January 8th! So, I sort of believe in that method now.
