Sunday, January 10, 2016 was discharge from the hospital day! We took a few final photos of Irie at the hospital and dressed in her "going home" clothes.
Then we drove home, and the Rozelles met us there with Jovie. They hung out for a few minutes to help us get situated and take a few pictures. Here are our first family pictures at home.
Then the Rozelles left, and it was that eerie feeling of being "alone" with your baby in your home for the first time. At the same time, we were ready to begin our new life.
We did all the things that are novelty on your first day home, and Jovie was particularly pumped about getting to give Irie her first sponge bath at home.
So begins the next phase of our life- a family of four!
Neither of our girls loved their carseats for the going home process...
