IJM's Global Prayer Gathering (GPG) weekend fell on a gorgeous weekend this year! The new location is at the National Harbor, so Mike and Jovie came to meet me for the dinner break on Saturday and then came with me on Sunday. It was nice to have some time with them during the great, but intense, weekend.
After we all took a nap on Sunday, we went to Oronoco Bay park to play and enjoy the beautiful weather.
At the National Harbor, we spent some time at the Peeps store. It's actually pretty fun for kids. Here's Jovie with the Peeps car - she was pretty enthralled.

Jovie was feeling very friendly that weekend, and hugged and waved to all my colleagues at IJM. She also extended that friendliness to the little boys playing in the sand at the Harbor.
