On Monday, I met my best friend from late Elementary, Jr. High and High School, Michelle at Panera. It was so great to catch up, and this was the first time for our babies to meet!
This picture cracks me up because Evie looks so small, and Jovie so big!
After lunch, we tried to get pictures of them together. Evie wasn't interested, so we tried to bribe her with Jovie's toys.
She was, however, interested in giving Jovie kisses.
Lots of them. I love Jovie's face in this one!
On Monday night, Mike and I went left Jovie with Grandma Susie and Grandpa Chick for our first over-night away from her. We spent the night in a hotel in Columbus and spent most of Tuesday wandering around the city at the North Market, Short North and German Village (love the Book Loft!) It was really nice to get away together, and Grandma and Grandpa loved having Jovie to themselves!
Tuesday night, we moved all of our stuff to the Youngs to spend the rest of the week there. Tuesday evening was spent playing and spending time with the family.
Wednesday morning playing with Grandma Marie!
Lunch with an audience
On Wednesday afternoon we went to visit Great-Grandpa Traylor. He loves to dote on her and play with her, and he even got right down on the floor to be with her.
Kisses for Great-Grandpa!
Back at the Youngs for snuggles with Great-Grandma Bev
And laughs with Great-Grandpa Jim
Hanging with Auntie Kel on the lawn
You can't tell by her face, but she actually liked the bananas since they were dipped in lime juice.
Jovie liked to help the boys open presents
We tried to get a picture of the three of them, but Jovie was mainly interested in grabbing Brady's eyes.
We were a little more successful in later attempts
Uncle Jeremy is funny!
My "little" nephews
Thursday, May 24th, Grandmas took Jovie for a walk in the morning. Then during the day we spent more time playing at the Youngs.
Great-Grandpa Traylor stopped by to get some more Jovie time!
There are no more pictures from Thursday because Kelly took family and Jovie pics in Carriage Hill. So far, from what I've seen, they're amazing!
Then after dinner at the Youngs, we went to Brayden's baseball game.
After Brady's game, we dropped Jovie off for goodnight snuggles with Grandma and Grandpa Young, then Mike and I went out for a little more alone time. However, at Marion's Pizza, we ran into Brady's baseball team, and at Dairy Queen we ran into Julie, Sarah and Jesse. It was pretty funny, and a reminder of what it's like in Englewood!
It was a good week.
I am so super jealous!!! Looks like great family time!
