Arriving in Ohio to Celebrate some Graduations

Our little family traveled to Ohio for a week of celebrating Sarah's graduation from Mount Vernon Nazarene University and Julie's graduation from Troy Christian High School.  It was a packed week with a lot going on, but Jovie was fantastic and everyone was so glad to love on her!

We arrived on Friday, May 18th, and Mom and Dad picked us up from the Dayton Airport.  We spent the day hanging out and getting ready for the big week.

There were lots of snuggles to catch up on with Grandma Susie.
Jovie wanted to stretch and play after the plan ride (during which she was fantastic!)
Aunt Kelly stopped by for awhile.  She hadn't seen her since Christmas!
Jovie lets anyone feed her, so there are often people ready to feed her, and an audience to watch!
Grandpa reveling in feeding Jovie on the porch - he was so looking forward to it!
After an afternoon of resting, making food for Jovie, and running an errand or two, the Hoberts came over after dinner.
Jovie likes to play with her cousins!
She looks so little next to these big boys.
Brady made a funny noise that always caught Jovie's attention.
Jovie looked at Collin a lot to try to figure him out - part kid, part man
Brady jumped at the chance to feed Jovie her nighttime bottle.  So sweet!

It was so nice to spend a day to reconnect with the family!

On Saturday, we left Jovie with Grandma and Grandpa and drove over to Mount Vernon for Sarah's graduation from college.

On Saturday evening after a graduation lunch at Cracker Barrel and the drive back to Dayton, we went to help the Youngs get ready for Sunday's open house.  While Mama helped chop fruit and veggies, there were plenty of willing hands to help with Jovie!

On Sunday, May 20th, we spent the first part of the day hanging out with Grandpa Chick and Grandma Susie.

Then we spent the rest of the day at Julie's open house.  I took a ton of pictures, but here are just a few(ish).

Jovie was fussy when I was in sight, but if I stepped away, she got along with everyone!

The Grandmas- I was taking the picture here. You can tell because I was nearby because she was fussing because i wasn't holding her.  It didn't work out so well...
