On Saturday, we finished our visit to Ohio by hanging out with the Hollanders at Grandma Susie's house after Jovie's morning nap. We really enjoyed seeing them, although the time was short and went fast!

I love this sequence of pictures - it tells quite a story!
Contentedly chomping away
Abel likes the phone. What he doesn't know is that it's Jovie's favorite toy at Grandma Susie's house. And Jovie tends to go for what she wants.
Jovie eyeing the phone. I think she's considering making a move.
Jovie trying another toy that was given to her
Still watching that phone
Inching closer
Phone down! Who's gonna get it?
Moving in for the grab - notice who has all the toys in her lap!
What? I'm just touching his head.
Somehow, I missed the actual thieving, but notice who has the phone. And who's going for the new toy in Abel's hand.
Grandma Susie (Great Auntie Susie to Abel) tried to even things out.
Jovie's really interested in toys that other kids have. This could be interesting as Jovie grows up.
Cuddling with cousin Jen
I like this one - check out Abel peeking... :)
Kisses for Abel! She really does like him.
Quick pic! Rebekah had to turn around really quickly for this photo and then back around so that Jovie didn't see me - at that moment, she was in the mood that if she saw me, she wanted me to hold her.

With our babies
Too bad my big mouth is open. Such a cute picture otherwise!
That evening, we attended Julie's graduation ceremony at Troy Christian High School.

Julie got all kinds of awards!

What's that fun thing on Aunt Julie's head? (Jovie loves when people wear hats!)

Jovie was wiped out after the ceremony, and took a snooze on our way to dinner.
We ate at Company 7 Barbecue. Jovie loved it and was a little hyped up on the sugar from the applesauce at the restaurant. After the dinner, we let Grandma Marie put Jovie to bed at night and we went to one of Collin's baseball games. It's been a couple years since we've seen him play, and it was great to watch him play! They are very talented and play like adults. Fun to watch!
On Sunday, we flew home, and Jovie was really well behaved again. Although, it's starting to look like she gets a little motion sick like me on the plane.
When we arrived at home, she was so excited that she never stopped moving and jabbering for a couple hours. And when she woke up from her nap, she explored and chattered for the rest of the night. It was a good visit to Ohio, but I think we were all glad to be back home!
