Babies in Costumes

The Traylor family hosted a Halloween party this year for our friends. It was so much fun! Lots of good food and drink, including some fall must-haves, like cider and s'mores. Mike grilled, I made soup and our wonderful friends brought wonderful goodies.

One of the best parts was that we all dressed up our babies! It was amazing to think back to a year ago, when only two of the little ones were here. Now, it's quite a noisy group, and it will be so much fun to watch them grow up together!

Emerson the Bee, Ruth the Ballerina, Madeline the Pumpkin, Peyton the Pumpkin, Owen the Transformer and Jovie the Duck. Love all these cuties!
The progression of these pictures cracks me up! Keep and eye on Peyton, who keeps sinking deeper into the couch with each picture, Ruth who is always staring at Emerson or Madeline, Owen, who seems generally unhappy with the process, and Jovie, who seems oblivious to it all.
And, finally, Emerson's tutu in her face, Ruth about to cry, Madeline done smiling, Peyton, fed up, Owen pouting, and Jovie, well, looking the same as in every other picture; like I said, a little oblivious...
The adults pulled off some pretty great costumes, too...

Our family: hiker, angler and ducky
The Smith family: a pumpkin and some tourists
Pretty sure the Colwells win the prize: Shotgun wedding!
The McGinnis family: Thing One and Thing Two, a pumpkin and a transformer
Sadly, I didn't get a picture of Lauren and Brandon, who wore wings and a rubber chicken suit and Tim and Jess who came as Steve Jobs and Siri.

And of course, there was a lot of baby cuddling and some wonderful times with our friends. What a great group!
