Girls' Weekend!

The boys get to go on several fun weekend trips, so we girls finally organized ourselves and got together for a weekend at Jessica Smith's parents' house in Palm Beach, FL.  Woo hoo!  It was unbelievable- we were all available and able to go.  Yay!

We all went down at separate times, depending on our schedule.  Lauren and I left after work.  We met at DCA and took a flight down together.

We arrived at the Smiths very late on Friday night, so our first day there was Saturday.  We spent the first part of the day at the Marriott beach.  Jessica's parents let us use their beach privileges, so we all sat in lounge chairs and raised our flags when we wanted something to eat or drink.  The only other thing on the agenda was enjoying the sand and the water!!

Here are lots of photos capturing our day of pure relaxation.  It was AMAZING!!  No agenda, no one who needed us.  Just us lounging, playing, chatting, drinking and eating.

We went back to the Smiths' and got ready for an evening out.  We went out for drinks at a hotel in Palm Beach, and then a really yummy dinner.

On Sunday, we spent the day at the pool at the Smiths and got a golf cart tour of the Old Palm golf course where the Smiths live.  We also ate lunch at the club.  Another really fun and relaxing day before hopping on a plane that evening.
