In a relatively spontaneous decision, we decided to go to Syracuse for a weekend. The intent was to play in some snow. Ironically (and maybe the only week this winter) Syracuse didn't have any. But we had lots of fun playing with the Rozelles, playing "Just Dance" on the Wii, running, hanging out, eating - even a special date at Pastabilities while Laurel and Molly watched Jovie!
Jovie was a total trooper on the drive up and back! She ate lots of Cheerios, raisins and animal crackers, but didn't cry once on the way up and only cried for about 20 minutes at the end on the way home. And I can't blame her. We only stopped once that whole drive (which was about 7 hrs)! She was absolutely thrilled to see her cousins and Biscuit, as she is enamored with all of them.

Shopping
Shenanigans
There was a live dog in one of the window displays. The girls loved it!
After shopping a bit, we got to the lake and were greeted with a gorgeous sunset!

Sunday afternoon at the MOST (Museum of Science and Technology) childrens' museum
So, in these pictures, it looks like Jovie had a blast. While she did have her moments of fun, she was freaked out most of the time by the loud noises and crazy stuff all around.
Monday morning, reading with Annie before we go
This was 10 minutes down the road on the trip home - zonked!
We stopped to meet Natalie and her two girls at Panera in Scranton for lunch. I failed to get a picture. :(
It was a great trip, and we were glad we went, one last time before they move to Philadelphia this summer!
It WAS the only weekend without snow until this one! (April 6-7!) So glad you came. Love these pictures!
