From October 7th - 21st, I visited our four IJM Africa offices in Zambia, Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda. It was a fantastic trip!
We got stuck in Addis Ababa for an extra night - thank you, Ethiopian Airlines. :(. Here is a pic of my view from my hotel room.
In Rwanda, I had a few hours on Sunday afternoon to spend some time at a Kigali downtown market and then a cafe where this picture is from.
While I was traveling, Mike was getting some help with Jovie so he could work. The first week, my Mom and Dad came to help him, and the second week, his mom came.
Jovie had lots of fun with Grandmas and Grandpa, and Mike sent me pics during my trip.

Jovie grew so much in two weeks - the way she plays, walks, jabbers, everything about her is a little less baby and a little more toddler. And the grandparents loved every minute of it.

In Kenya, before we flew out on Saturday afternoon, we went to Nairobi National Park for the first half of the day. It was beautiful! And we saw some great things - ostrich, a warthog, buffalo, zebra, gazelles, giraffe, a crocodile, baboons, all kinds of different birds...
And some beautiful scenery
