Ah, the Beach

So the Hoberts stayed one more day so that we could go to the beach!  The day started a little rocky, as we ran into traffic on the way there, and then Cape Henlopen beach was turning people away because it was so full.  So we drove another 15 miles or so, and went to one of the stops along Seashore State Park.

It wasn't very crowded because there was no beach house, and a small parking lot, so we ended up being glad we got turned away from Henlopen, because we had lots more space.  The only down side was that the beach was more of a fishing beach than a swimming one, and the waves were huge so we couldn't take Jovie out too far.  But we had lots of fun in them!

Beach Babies!  (Except two of them aren't babies.)
The two best people in the world!!
 Really loves that sand...

A few of us went for a run on the beach - and although a couple years ago it was a very different story, this time, Collin kicked my bum.

It was such a beautiful day and we had so much space that I walked Jovie a little and she fell asleep.
Peace = waves and snuggly baby

It was such a great day at the beach, and a great way to wrap up a summer visit.
