Spring Break with the Youngs

Grandma and Grandpa Young and Aunt Sarah and Aunt Julie came to town for spring break! They came on Sunday after the baby dedication. Just like the time with Grandma Susie and Grandpa Chick, there was lots of reading, playing, and going for walks outside. The Youngs had lots of fun watching her learn and laugh and be the super-sweet baby she is! And, with their gentle prodding, she rediscovered her love of rolling around on the floor and now cannot stop.

I love that the every-day tasks are super-special to visitors and they remind me how fun it can be to take care of Jovie.

On Monday, we went to Old Town and ate at Austin Grill. This was the first time Jovie ate restaurant food (applesauce)!

Jovie loves to grab Daddy's hat; it's fascinating to her.

It was also fun to look out the window with Aunt Julie.

After, we tried to take a photo shoot of Jovie, but she was done.

That evening we took her took the park (a close and favorite destination)

Playing with a Christmas present Grandma and Grandpa brought with them (not enough room to take home with us, plus it was scary to her at Christmas time.)

They also brought Easter presents, too.
