Grandma Susie and Grandpa Chick come to town

Grandma Susie and Grandpa Chick came to visit from March 25-28.

On March 25th, we went to Jovie's first ballet recital, ever!  

 She did a great job!  (And couldn't have been much cuter!)

 After her ballet recital, we went out to lunch to celebrate.

On March 28th, we attempted to go to the kite festival.  It was a beautiful and clear day, but it was VERY chilly.  So, we didn't last long at the festival.

 Instead, we went to the Natural History Museum.

Weekend with great friends

The Smiths came back to town the weekend of March 20-22, and we had lots of fun get-togethers with friends.

On Friday, March 20th, I had to work, so Theresa came to pick up Jovie and take her along with the rest of the gang to go bowling.  Thanks sooo much, Ms. Theresa!  She had a great time.

On Saturday, we all had a cookout at the Mongellis.  Unfortunately, the Cuddingtons couldn't make it because Roger got sick.  :(  But, it was the first time we had (mostly) all been together in a long time!

 After church on Sunday, we went to eat at Good Stuff to see the Smiths off.  We played in the Crystal City tunnels a little bit after lunch, and took advantage of having lots of the kiddos together.  Photo shoot!

These are such great friends, and we were so glad to have the gang together again!

Grandma Marie and Grandpa Tom come to visit

Grandma Marie and Grandpa Tom came to D.C. on Mike's birthday, and stayed through March 9th.

We started the weekend by going out to eat at Cafe Pizzialo.  Jovie got some really yummy chocolate milk.

 On Saturday the 7th, we took advantage of some beautiful weather and remaining snow on the ground and went to play in East/West Potomac Park.

 It's been a big day!

 On March 8th, Mommy, Grandma and Jovie walked to the salon for Jovie's second haircut ever.

 She did great!
