April didn't bring many "big" events, like visitors or trips, but it was full of us enjoying the spring in the city.
We tried to salvage a little bit of Easter, even though we missed church and everything else we were going to do. After we all slept a bit, we did the Easter Egg hunt.
Enjoying a little more of Jovie's spring break. We took a rainy day (April 3) to go to the National Museum of Art.

In the wee hours of Easter morning, Barbara's water heater broke and poured into our house through the ceiling and down the wall. So from like 3-11 am, we were working with everyone to come to our house, stop the water, break out walls and ceilings, etc. The repairs will take several weeks. So, Happy Easter...
In the evening, we went to Ft Ward, and dressed Jovie in her Easter clothes so she could wear her Easter outfit.

Later, we did the Easter basket

On a beautiful Saturday (April 11), we wanted to go see the cherry blossoms in the city. But we knew it would be crazy. So, we parked at IJM, then had a family run up Mt. Vernon trail, across the 14th street bridge, and to the blossoms.
It was super fun!
