Our family Christmas

We had Christmas morning together as a family.  It was simple and sweet, and nice to have it in our own home.

The Rozelles then took Jovie to Ohio late Christmas morning, while we kept waiting for Baby Sister to arrive.

To try to get our mind off the fact that our daughter wasn't with us all Christmas Day, Mike and I went to a park to walk around and try to speed up Baby Sister's arrival.

And we walked around the neighborhood in the evening.  This is the biggest blow-up we had ever seen!

Once we settled in and Christmas passed, Mike and I enjoyed a few days together with just the two of us at home.  We shopped, went to parks, went out to eat, and enjoyed the last couple kid-free days we'll spend in probably quite a while.

Celebrating with the Youngs

On another weekend in December, Grandma Marie, Grandpa Tom and Aunt Sarah came to enjoy a lot of festivities with us.  They got to see a lot of Christmas programs.  It was fun!  Jovie couldn't wait for them to arrive!

The first night they were here, we walked to Haddon Heights to see the town decorated.  They were doing free carriage rides, and so the Youngs and Jovie went.

Then we ate at Local Links, and then went to the candy store to find yummy decorations for our gingerbread house!  We got a pre-put-together gingerbread house from Whole Foods which was awesome.  Lots of fun decorating!

The next day, we opened presents- and Face-Timed with Aunt Julie!

Later in the day we got dressed for the Christmas program at Circle of Hope.  Jovie was an angel.  :)

The program was so simple, and darling, and the kids were kids and so cute and it was just wonderful!  :)

The next day was her Christmas program and party at school.
All dressed up!

First, they sang Christmas songs in the sanctuary at the church (pre-school)

Then we all went to her classroom to join her Christmas party

Such a fun and festive weekend!
