First Haircut!!

For a long time, Jovie has resisted getting her hair cut.  But, in the style of Jovie, one day she decided that she was ready.  Who knows why?  The haircut song on the Justin Roberts CD, the picture of Peyton getting her haircut- it could have been any number of things.  But, she said she was ready. And, so, she was ready!

Doggy helped keep her brave during the hair washing
 So brave!
 And so proud of herself!
I promised her a lollipop from Fresh Market after her first haircut.  She was very excited to pick one out.
 Here are some "after" pics

Looking so grown up (and cute!) with that haircut

Trip to Philly

We went to Philly for a little bit of a birthday celebration for Jovie, and a little anniversary celebration for us.  And, of course, time with the amazing Rozelles.

Playing in the basement at the Rozelles' house (always)
 Opening b-day presents
After a day or so at the Rozelles, we took a train into Philly for an anniversary evening and night.
It was a loonng wait for our table at dinner, so we grabbed a snack and walked around a bit.
Dinner!
Celebrating our 11 year anniversary at dinner
 Comedy club
Sunday morning at the Spread- SUCH good bagels
I love mornings in a city!

Happy 3rd Birthday, Jovie!

Jovie is three!  She's fun and a handful and sweet and willful and so many amazing things.  She's had so much love and celebration from family and friends, and it's been wonderful!  We wanted a low key time with just the three of us to celebrate her, so we did a little celebration of her with just our little family.

Opening presents- the first was a chalkboard!

A new lunch box for a new school
 Squigz!
The Sneaky, Snacky Squirrel game (since she loves squirrels so much!)
 And a cupcake puzzle

Love you, Jovie!
