Some warm, some cold, some snow. No matter what the weather, we spent lots of time outside.
2/1/14
Playing at Fort Ward
Look, Mama. I'm "hitin"
Jovie loves to find hiking opportunities everywhere
2/2/14
One of Jovie's favorite things to do is "Play Hide"
Especially at the park
2/8/14
Picnic at Bellehaven
Getting ready for a "hite"
2/13/14
The first real snow in four years! We got about a foot of snow and played outside in it multiple times.
Crawling through bushes to play "hide"
Jovie was most interested in eating as much of it as she could.
Catching snowflakes on the tongue
2/14/14
Puddle jumping as the weather warms a little
2/15/14
Playing at Fort Ward to enjoy the leftover snow
Capitalizing on someone else's hard work
No sleds, but the snow was slick enough to slide down without it
It's not all fun and games. Sometimes it's just time to go home.
2/17/14 - President's Day
Back outside again to enjoy the snow sticking around
Here's something new- she pulls her hat down over her eyes and says very quickly, "Shut the door!" This started several days ago and we're not sure where she got it, but it's funny!
That evening we went to Top Golf to celebrate (and surprise!) Jim for his 40th b-day. See the snow on the driving range? We're under heaters.
Jovie loved it! Until the carts drove around to pick up the balls. Then she wasn't a fan.
These two were so darling that I had to post several pics. They are just so adorable!
The boys with an Owen photo-bomb
2/22/14
This weekend was beautiful weather so we spent lots of time outside.
Running with Mommy at the park
Then, later, riding her bike to the park. Not super-thrilled about a picture.
2/23/14
At the Iwo Jima Memorial
Meeting cousin Karen!
Shadow!
Walking with Tyrese around the Tidal Basin later that day
