Toddler Workout

This morning, I grabbed my workout mat and shoes and DVD and got ready to workout.  Jovie said "Shoes! Shoes!" and ran to the pile of them by the front door.  She brought me hers to put on so she could workout with me.  Then she promptly laid on the mat and started "exercising" with the Pilates moves we typically do together so that I can get a workout in sometimes.

Then, after dinner, all three of us were in the living room, and Jovie got all of our shoes and brought them to us.  So we all put them on and did a little workout.  Exercising has never been so cute before!

More Fun with Friends!

This weekend we had nothing planned - and ended up having lots of impromptu fun with friends!

On Saturday after our runs, we got a text inviting us to the playroom at Chinquotin Recreation Center- it was a drizzly cold morning.  It ended up being closed for a birthday party, so we met the Mancari's and McGinnis's at Chic-fil-a for lunch.  After lunch, we let the kids run around in the tunnels a little bit.  They loved it!

Then, on Saturday night we went to the Mongelli's, ordered pizza and let the kids play for awhile.  Then we put them to bed in pack and plays around the house and played some games.

On Sunday after church, it was fairly nice, so we took Jovie to the park and invited the McGinnis's to meet us there.  Unfortunately, it was a short play date as it got much colder than we had expected or dressed for.  But, it was a good time while it lasted!

What a super-fun weekend!

Aunt Sarah Comes to Town

Aunt Sarah came to visit for five days on her winter break.  It was the first time she has had one on one time with Jovie, and she loved it!  We ended up not doing much - it was cold and we had errands to run that weekend.  But it was a fun time to be together!
